New Moon Reading Series: A Noble Failure by Sue Mach

For the dedicated teachers and administrators of a failing public high school, navigating a minefield of competition, quotas, retention, testing, privatization, class size, corporate welfare, and litigation is tricky on the best of days. But these days, things really seem to be getting tough. A call-to-arms, A Noble Failure offers an funny, moving and eye-opening look at the current state of America's public education system.

This Reading is being done in cooperation with Save Our Schools March, a grassroots, nationwide organization dedicated to public education as the cornerstone of a democratic society. We are committed to education policy, research & actions that allow students, teachers, families, and communities to work together to meet the needs of all children.
