VERONA, NJ — A transformer fire caused a power outage in Verona on Tuesday, authorities said.

According to the Verona Police Department, the fire – which took place on Elmwood Road – caused a power outage in the Laning area.

“The fire is out and PSE&G is responding,” authorities stated at 5:24 a.m.
