Quattrocchi Runs For Verona Council: Traffic, Fiscal Discipline

John Quattrocchi, a former Board of Education president and longtime Verona resident is running for the Town Council.

VERONA, NJ — John Quattrocchi, a former Board of Education president and longtime Verona resident announced that he’s running for Town Council earlier this week. The election will take place on Tuesday, May 14.

“Verona is a fantastic town and I am proud to be a part of it,” Quattrocchi said. “I see, however, a real need for firm and experienced leadership to manage Verona’s changing dynamics, particularly as it pertains to traffic and safety, fiscal responsibility and collaboration between the various groups that comprise Verona.”

Quattrocchi said he wants to “be part of the solution” and help bring people together.

“I believe that without teamwork, there can be no true leadership and my vision will help improve these areas,” Quattrocchi said.

According to a news release from Quattrocchi, here are some of his qualifications:

  • Fifteen years on the Verona Board of Education, as president for most of those years/working relationship with the Town Council
  • Founding member of Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence (VFEE)
  • Senior leader, mentor and advocate for Barclays Women's Network
  • Managing Director / Global Head of Product Development & Strategy at Barclays Bank
