Sustainable Verona, Township Plan Annual Green Fair

Sustainable Verona and the township of Verona will host the second, annual Verona Green Fiar on Saturday, May 21, as announced Monday, Feb. 1. The event i scheduled to take place in the Verona Civic Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, May 22.

This event is free and will feature a variety of vendors, exhibitions and demonstrations, children’s games and learning experiences, a book swap, health and nutrition information, speakers, live music, food trucks, fresh and organic produce as well as other vendors.

Sustainable Verona strives to raise awareness about environmental issues and innovative sustainability ideas as well as to showcase the steps people and their community can take to sustain their quality of life throughout the long term. People of all ages are encouraged to come and explore the world of sustainability, eat, play and have fun.
