Schools Closing Early Due to Heat Wave

Cedar Grove and Verona Schools will hold early dismissals today as the late-spring heat wave continues pushing the mercury higher and higher.

All Cedar Grove schools will let out at 12:30 p.m. today, and all after-school events and activities will be canceled, according to the district website.

Verona High School will close at 12:08 p.m. All other Verona schools will let out at 12:30 p.m. However, tonight's track meet is still on as scheduled. The cheerleading try-outs have been postponed until Tuesday. The World Languages induction ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the VHS library.
