Jaden, our newest waiter, sings. You can tell when he's going to start; there's a low hum, his eyes get bright and then his cherubic face take on a rosier hue. By the time he finishes filling the water pitcher in the back, he has a tune in his head. On the way to the lucky table, his beautiful voice has emerged from his head and mouth and the whole restaurant, stops and listens with approval. Jaden will be attending Montclair State in September for Vocal Performance. Bella Gente is proud to be his first restaurant performance venue.
