Special Needs Summer Camp Gets Boost From Cedar Grove Elks
The relationship between the Cedar Grove Elks Lodge and the campers and counselors of Camp Moore in Haskell continues to blossom.
CEDAR GROVE, NJ — The relationship between the Cedar Grove Elks Lodge and the campers and counselors of Camp Moore in Haskell continues to blossom.
As part of their annual golf tournament in July, Elks members raised $3,855 to support Camp Moore, a summer camp for children with special needs, the club stated.
The Elks got a chance to get hands-on later that month, visiting Haskell to hold a cookout for 160 campers and counselors. The West Orange Lodge assisted and provided after-dinner entertainment, the Elks stated.
