Teen Caught With 3 Pounds Of Pot In Essex County: Police
The Essex County teen is charged with selling to teens in Verona and West Orange, police say.

An 18-year-old Essex County resident was arrested and charged with allegedly selling marijuana to Verona and West Orange teens after police found three and a half pounds of pot at his home.
According to Verona police, the arrest of the teen on Monday was the result of a two-month long narcotics investigation.

A search of his home turned up about three and a half pounds of marijuana, with an approximate street value of $12,000, along with $1,700 in cash, authorities said.
Further investigation resulted in the seizure of an additional $32,000 which is believed to be proceeds from the sale of marijuana, police added.

The teen was released on bail and was scheduled to appear in Essex County Superior Court.
