Township Councils Meet Tonight

This week both Verona and Cedar Grove have meetings to kick off the week. But meetings aren't all that's going on.

Both have township council meetings tonight.

Verona's Township Council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight in council chambers at the municipal building, 600 Bloomfield Ave., Verona. Please see the attached PDF for the agenda.

Cedar Grove's Township Council meeting is also tonight at 7 p.m. in council chambers. Check out the attached PDF for the agenda.

On Tuesday the Verona Board of Education has an 8 p.m. meeting at 151 Fairview Ave., Verona. The schedule says the meeting will consist of the annual board reorganization, administrative appointments and salaries.

As a service to Essex County residents, the clerk’s office schedules afternoon and evening hours to conduct business in municipalities across Essex County. During these outreach times, they process only new passports, Notary Public Oaths, and Veterans Peddler Licenses. No other services are available.

Time for Tots is an informal group of Moms and Dads who get together while our children play. Time for Tots allows your children to get out of the house and play with other children, while giving you some much needed "adult time."  No sign-up or $ involved.

Wednesday 10 a.m.
Join a lively group of walkers on Thursdays 10 a.m. -11 a.m. in the VCC gym for exercise and walking. New members welcome.

Neighbors-helping-Neighbors (NhN), is a free highly successful and recognized grassroots organization offering local library based weekly meetings that are Peer-led by volunteers to provide support and networking for people actively seeking employment.
