Three Cedar Grove Students Earn Moravian Degrees

Pennsylvania college holds 270th commencement exercises Saturday.

Moravian College, located in Bethlehem, Pa., held its commencement Saturday, marking the 270th academic year at the college. 

The college, the sixth-oldest college in America, conferred almost 404 bachelor degrees — including degrees to three Cedar Grove residents — to students. 

Cedar Grove residents Douglas Peter DiMattia and Joan Osborne earned bachelor’s degrees, while Kristina Lynn Ruggiero, also of Cedar Grove, earned a bachelor’s degree as well as graduating cum laude.

The college offers degree programs in majors including business, science, education, computer science, drama and theater, graphic design, history, music, nursing, philosophy, law, psychology and other programs.
