Verona, NJ – Do you know who vandalized Liberty Field and the Hilltop Recreation Complex?
If so, there’s $500 with your name on it.
Verona town officials recently announced that the municipality is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for causing “substantial damage” to the two locations.

"Millions of dollars and countless man-hours have been spent to redevelop this complex to meet the ever growing recreational need of this community," Township Manager Matthew Cavallo stated in the release. "It's a shame that some people have little respect and would maliciously cause this damage. With the help of the Verona community, I am confident that information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the people responsible will be forthcoming."
Anyone with information concerning the vandalism to the Recreation Complex or any other public property in the is encouraged to call Sgt. Banta of the Verona Police Department Detective Bureau at (973) 857-4764.
