Verona Business Owner Gets Into Fight With Delivery Driver: Police

An argument over parking erupted into a physical fight between a delivery driver and a local business owner, Verona police say.

VERONA, NJ — An argument over parking erupted into a physical fight between a delivery driver and a local business owner last month, Verona police say.

According to the Verona Police Department, the fight took place on Sept. 25 in front of a Bloomfield Avenue business when a delivery vehicle allegedly blocked the business’ driveway. When the owner asked the driver to move the vehicle, the two began to argue.

The dispute soon escalated into a physical confrontation; neither person suffered injury during the scrape, police said.
