Verona And Cedar Grove See Water Main Breaks
Verona saw a water main break on Monday, and Cedar Grove on Sunday.
Verona town officials reported a water main break on Hillside Avenue between Lakeside and Forest Avenues on Monday morning.
According to a township Nixle alert sent at 9:47 a.m., the roadway was closed for repairs, and water discoloration may have occurred in the surrounding area.
Township officials advised commuters to plan an alternate route.

Monday’s break follows an incident on Sunday afternoon, when Cedar Grove township officials announced a water main break in the Sweetwood Drive area (Clara, Rose, Ira, Ozone).
The Cedar Grove break caused low water pressure to residents in the area, officials reported via a Nixle alert.
