Verona Council Candidate Debate

With Verona's council election right around the corner, time is running out for residents to familiarize themselves with the candidates.

Incumbents Jay Sniatkowski, Kevin Ryan, and Bob Manley and challengers Rich Williamson, Alex Roman, Al DeOld and Teena Schwartz are all running for three four-year seats on the Verona Township Council on May 14.

On Tuesday, April 9, Verona's seven council candidates took to the stage in front of about two dozen residents Tuesday night for a public forum focusing on Phase II of the Hilltop Reservation, transparency in government, expanding local business and salary negotiations.
