Verona Council Candidates to Face Off in Public Forum
Seven candidates, including three incumbents and four challengers, will answer questions in a televised public forum April 9.
Verona Township Council candidates are expected to take the stage Tuesday, April 9 for a debate-style public forum, hosted by the Verona Chamber of Commerce and the Verona-Cedar Grove Times.
The free forum is open to the public and will feature the three incumbents and four challengers answering questions posed by Verona Chamber of Commerce Vice President Alex Graziano and Verona-Cedar Grove Times Editor Lillian Ortiz.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Verona Community Center Ballroom, located at 880 Bloomfield Ave.

"We are formulating questions to ask the candidates relating to the interests of both the business and residential community," said Chamber Promotions Chairman Scott Drukker.
Members of the Verona Chamber of Commerce may submit questions for the forum to Graziano

The forum will be made available on Verona's VTV network as well as the chamber of commerce website, said Drukker.
