Verona Event: Sports Gear And Instrument Swap 2017

Verona area residents can swap and buy outgrown but still-useful sports equipment, athletic uniforms or musical instruments.

VERONA, NJ — Are you a Verona resident wondering what to do with your outgrown but still-useful sports equipment, athletic uniforms or musical instruments? Here’s your chance to donate, swap and support a local charity.

At the Verona Sports & Instrument Swap, participants can donate gently used equipment and items, shop for new ones and support the Township of Verona Children’s Fund.

Drop off for donated items will be held on Sunday, Aug. 27, from noon to 8 p.m., at the Verona Community Center Ballroom, 880 Bloomfield Ave.

The Shop the Swap purchasing event will be held on Monday, Aug. 28 and Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Prices of items will range from $1 to $10.

All proceeds will benefit the Children’s Fund, organizers said. Unsold equipment will be discarded.
