Verona Ghost Hunters Event: 'Eerie Tales' From A Paranormal Investigator
Paranormal investigator L'Aura Hladik Hoffman has been ghost hunting since 1993.

VERONA, NJ — The Verona Public Library will present an event featuring "eerie tales of New Jersey and New York City" by paranormal investigator and ghost hunter L'Aura Hladik Hoffman at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30.
According to a library news release, Hoffman is the author of Ghosthunting: New Jersey and Ghosthunting: New York City, and has been ghost hunting since 1993. She founded the NJ Ghost Hunters Society in 1998, which to date is the largest paranormal investigating organization in New Jersey. As a paranormal investigator, L'Aura has stayed at the famously haunted Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, LA. Other explorations have taken her to Chicago, Savannah, and New Orleans and several Irish haunted castles, most notably Leap Castle (County Offaly, Ireland). She has appeared on numerous television and radio shows.
The multi-media presentation will feature photographs and audio recordings and is "not for the faint of heart," organizers say. The program is for ages teen and up. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
