Verona High Football Coach Scores Spot in Essex County Hall of Fame
VHS's winningest coach makes the Hall but has his mind on winning more football games.

Lou Racioppe, head football coach at Verona High School, was inducted into the Essex County Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in East Orange June 16, according to a published report.
In his 15-year career with the Hillbillies, Racioppe led the squad to two state championships and, with more than 100 victories, the distinction of being the VHS coach with the most wins, the Verona-Cedar Grove Times said.
The coach told the Times that rather than rest on his laurels or consider retiring, he is focused on winning future football games.
