Verona HS Among 100 ‘Best High Schools’ In NJ: Report

VERONA, NJ — Verona High School is among the top 100 institutions in New Jersey, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2019 rankings of "best high schools."

Verona High School was the 55th-highest-ranked institution in the Garden State, U.S. News & World Report stated.

Nationwide, Verona High School placed at #1293 among more than 20,500 public high schools.(See the full state list here)

To reach its conclusions, the study compared factors such as “college readiness,” reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance; underserved student performance; college curriculum breadth; and graduation rates.

“By evaluating more schools than ever before, the new edition expands that focus so all communities can see which schools in their area are successfully serving their students — including historically underserved populations,” said Anita Narayan, managing editor of education at U.S. News.
