Verona Police: Disabled Vehicles, Accidents In Snow Storm

VERONA, NJ — Beware the roads in Verona… they’re already causing accidents, authorities said Thursday.

According to a Verona Police Department alert sent at 3:54 p.m., “multiple disabled vehicles and accidents” were reported in the township on Nov. 15 amid the winter’s first snowstorm.

“Everyone is requested to stay off the roads as they very treacherous,” police advised.

Forecasters predicted the possibility of several inches of snow/rain and 55-mph winds, which created the potential for power outages and hazardous roads. (Read more about the forecast here)
