Verona Raises Rainbow Flag At Civic Center For LGBTQ Pride Month
Verona Officials: "We are all one family. Peace. Love. Respect."
VERONA, NJ — Verona town officials raised a rainbow flag at the municipal Civic Center in a show of support for LGBTQ Pride Month on Friday.
Verona officials wrote about the flag raising on social media:
“Today, the township raised the rainbow flag in the Civic Center to show acceptance and solidarity for the LGBTQ community and all of our Verona residents. We are all one family. Peace. Love. Respect. Each of the six colors has a meaning; red means life, orange means healing, yellow means sunshine, green means nature, blue means harmony, and purple means spirit. #onelove #weareverona”
