Verona Residents Return Lost Property
Police share three recent instances of honest citizens returning found items.

If you lose your cellphone in Verona, there’s a good chance an honest resident of the town has your back.
The Verona Police Department reported three recent instances of residents turning in lost property:
- On July 26, an Afterglow Avenue resident turned in an Audi car key and several store courtesy cards in Verona Park. The owner was located and recovered the items.
- On July 30, a township employee found a cellphone on Grove Avenue. The owner was identified and responded to pick up his phone.
- On July 30, a Depot Street resident found an iPhone on Fairview Avenue. The owner was identified and responded to pick up his phone.
