Verona Schools To Kick Off Latest Partnership
District will kick off a partnership with Trattoria Bella Gente in Verona on Thursday.

The Verona School District announced it is striking up another business partnership, spearheaded by Superintendent Steven Forte, who has been searching for alternative forms of revenue for the district.
Beginning in May, Trattoria Belle Gente in Verona will donate money to Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence (VFEE).
“All people have to do is dine out on Thursdays and write Verona Schools on their checks and Bella Gente will donate 10 percent to VFEE,” said Forte.

Forte and representatives from VFEE will kick off the new partnership on Thursday, April 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Belle Gente.
“When a donation is made to the Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence, 100 percent of the profits benefit the students,” said Foundation President Douglas Smith.

Forte has been actively seeking out partnerships for the past few months and has already wrapped up the first month with DeCozen Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Verona.
Every time a Verona resident purchases a car from DeCozen between March and May, the dealership will donate $200 to VFEE.
In March, five cars were sold to Verona residents and five cars were sold to Caldwell residents, totaling a , said Michael Cerino, DeCozen CEO and President of the Verona Chamber of Commerce.
