Verona Woman Gets Disturbing Phone Calls: Police
A Meadow Lane resident received a series of disturbing phone calls from unknown people, including one asking about "her boys," police say.

Verona, NJ – A Meadow Lane resident recently received a series of disturbing phone calls from unknown people, Verona police stated.
According to police, the resident received a call around 8 p.m. on March 24, from an unknown female asking about "her boys."
The resident told police that she hung up the phone, but a short time later, an unknown male called and began to ask her questions.

The resident told the male that she didn’t know him and hung up, police stated.
At that point, the male called back and allegedly threatened her, the resident told police.

She also received several more calls from the same number which she didn’t answer, police said.
Verona police advised the woman to block the number and contact officers if she receives any more calls.
