A water main break in Verona may cause no or low pressure for some residents, town officials announced.

VERONA, NJ — A water main break in Verona may cause no or low pressure for some residents, town officials announced Thursday afternoon.

According to a Verona Police Department alert sent at 3:38 p.m., the water main break took place on Park Avenue between Bloomfield and Sunset Avenues. “Run cold water to clear dirty water,” officials said.

Park Avenue was closed between Bloomfield and Sunset Avenues, authorities stated.

Verona officials provided the following update at 5:18 p.m.: "The water main break has been repaired. Water is back on. Roadway is still closed."
