Zero Traffic Fatalities In Cedar Grove Last Year, Chief Says
Cedar Grove put up a big, fat zero for 2016, and Police Chief Joseph Cirasa couldn't be happier.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove put up a big, fat zero for 2016, and Police Chief Joseph Cirasa couldn’t be happier. That’s because the township recently earned a “Traffic Safety Commendation” from the AAA Northeast Division in recognition of zero traffic fatalities last year.
Cirasa announced the AAA recognition last week, crediting local officers’ “continued efforts to protect and serve the citizens of the Township of Cedar Grove.”
According to AAA, its “Community Traffic Safety Awards Program” gives recognition to outstanding communities based on their efforts to improve local traffic safety for all modes of travel.
