1 Ejected, 4 Injured In Route 33 Crash: Police
The crash shut down Route 33 both ways for more than two hours, police said.

NEPTUNE, NJ -- Four people have been seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash on Route 33 Friday, Neptune officials said.
At least one person was ejected from one of the three cars, police said. The crash happened near the intersection of Union Avenue, police said, and resulted in the closure of Route 33 from Hamilton Avenue to Route 35 for at least two hours.
Photos taken by the police department show one car broken in half from the impact, and pieces of the vehicles strewn about.

Identities of the four injured people and their status were not available Friday afternoon. A Neptune Township Police watch commander said he had no further information as of 4:30 p.m.
Neptune and Neptune City EMS transported the injured to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, police said. The Neptune Office of Emergency Management also responded.
