2 People Injured After Car Overturns In Garden State Parkway Crash: NJ State Police

The crash occurred Monday evening in Wall Township after a driver lost directional control of their car and ran off the road, police said.

WALL, NJ — Two people sustained minor injuries following a crash on the Garden State Parkway on Monday evening, NJ State Police Trooper Christopher Postorino told Patch.

At 5:05 p.m. on Monday, troopers responded to the Garden State Parkway north at milepost 99.4 in Wall for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

Based on a preliminary investigation, Postorino said a Nissan passenger vehicle was going north, when the driver lost directional control of the car, ran off the road to the left, went down an embankment and overturned.

The driver and passenger both sustained minor injuries and were brought to an area hospital, Postorino said.

The crash remains under investigation, NJ State Police said.
