83-Year-Old Lighting Business Opens Wall Twp Storefront

The 6,000-square-foot storefront was acquired earlier this year from the owners of the former Mr. Remnant Carpet.

WALL, NJ - A family-owned business that has been serving Ocean County residents for the better half of a century has officially stepped foot into Monmouth County. Good Friend Electric, which touts an extensive selection of electrical supplies and lighting since 1937, has finally moved into Wall Township.

Located at the intersection of Rt. 35 and 18th Avenue, the 6,000-square-foot brick and mortar storefront was acquired earlier this year by Good Friend Electric from the owners of the former Mr. Remnant Carpet.

The Wall Township site is now among six Good Friend Electric showrooms, with other locations in Toms River, Lakewood, Brick, Manahawkin and Lacey.

The new Wall showroom offers a full array of lighting, ceiling fans and accessories, as well as generators and electrical supplies, according to a news release.

Good Friends Electric is open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. For more information, visit www.goodfriendelectric.com.
