Death Investigation In Wall: Roads Reopened, Prosecutor Says

Details on the investigation have not been released but Brighton Avenue and nearby roads have been reopened to traffic.

WALL, NJ — (Updated, 4:45 p.m.) Monmouth County officials have reopened several roads in Wall Township as investigators continue to probe a suspicious death in the area Thursday.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office announced the roads around Rockefeller Drive and Brighton Avenue were reopened in a tweet about 3:40 p.m.

The area was shut down around noon, with the exit ramps southbound on Route 18 at 7A and 7B closed, along with Brighton Avenue between Route 18 and Romano Boulevard, the prosecutor's office said.

A report by News 12 New Jersey said a body was found wrapped in a tarp. The prosecutor's office has not released information on the death as of 4:45 p.m.
