Fight Cancer with your Fork presented by Susan Silberstein, PhD will focus on the latest research available on diet and cancer prevention, what science says about diet and cancer survival, over a dozen advantages of using nutrition in a treatment program, how to create an inner environment unfriendly to cancer and more. "All in the Family Dental Care is honored to host Silberstein and support Mary’s Place by the Sea. This annual event continues the passion for overall health and wellness and keeping in line with our philosophy of giving back to our community.”says Dr. Joseph Campi.

Co-Founder of Mary’s Place by the Sea, Maria McKeon was certified by Silberstein in her Holistic Cancer Coach Certification Program. “We offer nutritional education as one of the complimentary services to our guests so after they leave Mary’s Place they will know how to continue fighting cancer with their fork.” says McKeon. "After completing my education, I have been able to provide our guests with crucial information regarding the advantages of nutrition, foods to include and foods to avoid while guiding guests in making dietary changes to support your body to heal. Immune boosting foods are essential."

Recently opened Your Fresh Kitchen of Sea Girt will be providing samples of nutrient dense farm-to-table food to attendees. Founder Mike Nitto of Manasquan states, “As a business, we provide food with integrity. Chef Chris Burgess prepares all of our food sous vide style to maintain the ingredients natural flavors while maximizing the nutrients. We have many guests that come in turning to nutrition to help their healing process, it’s an honor to be able to serve them and know we are helping in some way."

Over $1,500 Wellness prizes will be raffled off courtesy of the Atlantic Club.

The event will be held at The Atlantic Club, 1904 Atlantic Avenue, Manasquan on Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30PM and Wednesday, October 26th at 10:00am.

Susan Silberstein, PhD is Educational Director of the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education (BeatCancer.org), which she founded in Philadelphia in 1977 after the death of her young husband to cancer. The Center is a national not-for-profit cancer information, counseling and referral organization. It provides nutritional, immunological and psychological counseling as well as other integrative, complementary and alternative resources for cancer prevention, prevention of recurrence, and support during or after treatment.

Mary’s Place by the Sea is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women who have cancer. Guests are provided with unconditional care during their time of extreme need at NO COST to them. It is the mission of Mary's Place by the Sea to give women with cancer a place to rest and recuperate during and after cancer treatments. The volunteers care for these women so they may focus on their healing. Guests are welcome to stay a few hours or up to three days.
