All The World's Her Stage: Wall Teen Headed To Shakespeare's Globe Theatre To Study
Ellie Moonan is one of 20 students chosen to participate in the Shakespeare's Globe Summer School in London.

That is probably how Ellie Moonan of Wall feels and will continue to feel, as the Red Bank Catholic graduate heads off to London tlater this summer o participate in the kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience that exists in the fantasies of every Shakespeare fan: studying on the stage he made famous.
Moonan is one of about 20 students from around the world who will be spending two weeks this summer at the Globe Theatre in London, working with leading actors, directors and scholars as part of Shakespeare’s Globe Summer School.

“I am completely honored and humbled by this life changing experience,” Moonan said in a news release from Red Bank Catholic High School. “Every day it becomes a little more real that I am actually going to be standing at the exact location where Shakespeare produced his plays.”
According to the summer school’s website, the students will watch productions and even perform on the famous Globe stage.

“I am so proud of Ellie -- she truly deserves this,” said Adrienne Genthe, Moonan’s Shakespeare teacher at RBC.
The two-week program, from July 27 to Aug. 7, includes performances, text analysis and instruction from leading directors and actors on both the Globe stage and the Globe and Sam Wanamaker Playhouse stages.
