WALL, NJ — A new shop is bringing Hawaiian coffee to the Jersey Shore.
Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, located just off Route 35 in Wall, first opened its doors to customers in mid-June and is set to host a Grand Opening celebration from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The coffee chain's newest store marks the business' second New Jersey location, joining its first in Madison, NJ.
"Wall — we're officially open," the shop said in an online post. "Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is now serving bold Hawaiian brews, island vibes, and the fuel you need to crush your day."
"Stop by, fuel up, and see what makes us Bad Ass."
Founded in 1989, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii was created to share American-grown, premium Hawaiian coffee from Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Moloka'i, Kona and Ka'u with coffee lovers everywhere, according to their website.
In 1995, B.J. Bilanzich and her husband started to open stores in Utah and eventually bought Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii to start franchising on the mainland.
Since then, the company has expanded across the U.S., with locations in New Jersey, Virginia, Florida and more.
"Today, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii continues to serve premium Hawaiian and other top international coffees with a kick — but Bad Ass Coffee franchises don’t stop there," their website reads. "We also serve popular blended drinks, teas, food and branded merchandise with exceptional service through 32 stores in the U.S."
At Bad Ass Coffee, customers can choose from a variety of menu options, ranging from hot and cold lattes to cold brews, Iced Mana, lemonade, smoothies and more.
The shop also sells pastries, breakfast and lunch options, as well as its own merchandise.
