• Wall Township asks state to preserve historic Brisbane site (starnewsgroup.com) — Wall officials are asking New Jersey to transfer the 386-acre Arthur Brisbane property on Atlantic Avenue to the state DEP so it can be permanently preserved instead of developed for hundreds of housing units. Residents and local historians questioned how this reversal affects Wall's state-mandated affordable housing plan, while township leaders say required units will be shifted to other sites around town.
• 5 Arrested In Drug Bust, Wall Police Say (patch.com) — Wall Township police report five people were arrested after a month-long drug investigation that led to search warrants and multiple cocaine and paraphernalia charges. Four suspects were sent to Monmouth County Jail and one was released on a summons, following a joint effort by Wall officers, Tinton Falls police, and the New Jersey State Police trafficking unit.
• Long Branch man arrested in Wall Township dumping spree: Cops (app.com) — Wall police say a Long Branch man has been arrested after five illegal dumping incidents at a Campus Parkway commercial property left owners with more than $2,000 in cleanup costs. Detectives traced debris to storage unit auctions, tracked the suspect's trucks, and ultimately arrested him at his Long Branch home; additional charges may follow as the investigation continues.
