Application Set To Open For Affordable Senior Housing In Wall

Affordable housing units at the Allenwood Road property will soon be available to eligible seniors. The application opens Oct. 1.

WALL, NJ - The application for a brand-new affordable senior housing complex in Wall is slated to open later this week.

The property at 2101 Allenwood Road is part of Wall Township’s court-mandated affordable-housing agreement, with rent prices ranging from $524 to $1,125. Dubbed “Allenwood Terrace”, the complex will house eligible 55-and-over residents in 85 units, including seven studios, 71 one-bedroom units and seven two-bedroom units.

Amenities include elevators, on-site laundry services, Wi-Fi, resident computers, fitness center, emergency maintenance and social, recreational and educational programs, according to the developer's website. Apartment units reportedly feature dishwashers, microwaves and air-conditioning units.

Forms may be mailed to Allenwood Apartments, 2101 Allenwood Road, Wall Township NJ 07719 with a postmark of Oct. 1 or later; applications will not be accepted before Oct. 1. There is a $50 application fee.
