Children’s Mental Health Awareness Fair Will Return To Wall Farm
The event series, planned for Fridays from June 26 to July 10, will feature both rides and resources for adolescents and parents.

WALL, NJ – Friday will mark the first day of an event series at Allaire Community Farm set to raise awareness for children’s mental health. ‘Fridays at the Farm’ will feature rides and a petting zoo while providing a platform for discussing mental health. The event will be open to the public from June 26 to July 10 between 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The festivities are slated to include barrel train rides and hayrides, both altered to accommodate social distancing guidelines. The farm will also have mental health resources and representatives from several agencies for families to gain information, support and get connected with over 40 Monmouth County agencies. The event is free but will require pre-registration on Eventbrite.
‘Fridays at the Farm’ will replace what would have been Allaire Community Farm’s fourth annual Children’s Mental Health Day. The 25-acre nonprofit supports special needs children and adults, veterans with PTSD and the community at large through farming, learning and animal therapy, according to its website.
