Coastal Habitat for Humanity to Honor Community Partners
Coastal Habitat for Humanity will hold its 2016 Hearts & Hammers celebration on April 21, 2016.
Coastal Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual Hearts & Hammers celebration on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Manasquan River Golf Club. The event began in 2015 to commemorate the organization’s 20th year of serving families in need of affordable housing in Southern Monmouth County. This year, Coastal Habitat once again honors its community partners and their dedication to providing affordable housing assistance to low-income families.
The 2016 Hearts & Hammers honorees are Randy Bishop – The Golden Hearts Founders Award, The New Jersey Bankers Association – The Golden Hammer Award, and Star News Group – The Golden Hard Hat Award.
“Coastal Habitat for Humanity could not be as successful as it is without the support and dedication we receive from our honorees” says Maureen Mulligan, Executive Director.
With a busy year ahead, the funds raised through Hearts & Hammers will help Coastal Habitat for Humanity’s Aging in Place program to assist seniors with critical home repairs, rehab a vacant property in Asbury Park, and build a handicapped accessible home for a disabled veteran and their family.
