Coldwell Banker Cares Hosts Fundraiser for Common Ground

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Raises More Than $12,000 For Common Ground Grief Center

SPRING LAKE, N.J. (June 17, 2019) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares hosted a fundraiser at Belmar Fishing Club on May 7 that raised more than $12,000 for Common Ground Grief Center, a nonprofit organization that provides support to grieving children, teens, young adults and their families in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Volunteers from the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage real estate office in Spring Lake organized the charitable evening as part of the statewide Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day event to help Common Ground complete an addition to its facility in Manasquan.

“I am proud of the volunteers from this office who ensured that Colwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares could assist Common Ground Grief Center in their mission to help local children and their families cope with tragic loss,” said Robert White, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Spring Lake. “Special thanks to Cares Ambassador Pamela Farmer, who organized this fundraiser, as well as the Belmar Fishing Club, NRT Title, Joe Leone’s Catering, Joe Riccardello, the Laylow Jones Acoustic Band and everyone who came out to make this night a success.”

The fundraiser at the Belmar Fishing Club included hors d’oeuvers, a cash bar, a gift auction, music on the club’s pier by Joe Riccardello and music by the LayLow Jones Acoustic Band. The event program featured artwork and writing created by kids who take part in Common Ground’s therapeutic activities.
