Coming Soon: Whole Foods Set To Open In Wall

The opening date was announced by the company on Facebook this week.

WALL, NJ -- Fans of Whole Foods Market will be happy to hear that the food store chain is opening a new store in April in southern Monmouth County.

The newest Whole Foods Market will be located in the shopping plaza at 1933 Route 35 in Wall, which also is occupied by a Lowes Express and Jersey Mike’s Subs.

The grand opening is set for Wednesday, April 13 at 9 a.m., according to an announcement from the company on Facebook.

It will be the third Whole Foods location in Monmouth County, the company said.

The company faced a tough year in 2015, after it was accused of overcharging customers in New York City for prepackaged foods priced by the pound -- a charge Whole Foods denies. The company agreed to a $500,000 settlement in late December, which it said was an effort to put the matter behind it, according to the company’s news release.
