2 Kids Ejected From Car In Garden State Parkway Crash In Wall: Cops
A 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl from London sustained serious injuries in the two-car collision, police said.
WALL, NJ — A 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl from London sustained serious injuries in a car accident on the Garden State Parkway Thursday afternoon, said New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota.
The two young children were ejected from a Toyota Sienna following the initial collision between the van and a Honda Accord on the southbound lanes of the highway, Slota said.
Three other passengers in the Toyota, all of whom were from London, England, sustained minor injuries, police said. The driver of the Honda was not injured in the collision.

The names of the adult victims have not been released as of Monday morning.
The collision occurred around 2:40 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway southbound near milepost 97.3 in Wall Township, according to the preliminary investigation. The Toyota and the Honda were both traveling southbound when the vehicles sideswiped into one another.

As a result of the collision, the Honda ran off the road to the left and struck two guardrail posts while the Toyota ran off the road to the left and overturned, Slota said.
The children were taken to nearby Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune where their conditions have not been made public.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Slota said.
