Driver Dies After Colliding With Monmouth County Sheriff's Truck
The driver died after the crash occurred with a special operations vehicle, authorities said.

The driver of a vehicle that collided with a Monmouth County Sheriff's Office truck on Wednesday has died, police said.
The driver, who was not identified, died after the crash occurred at 1:51 p.m. at the intersection of Belmar Boulevard and Adrienne Road in Wall Township, according to the State Police.
The sheriff's vehicle was one of the department's special operations units, according to the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out the the driver of the vehicle," the sheriff's office said.
Operators of the agency's unit were driving down Belmar Boulevard when it collided with a vehicle emerging into the roadway from a side street, according to the sheriff's office.

Wall Township Police and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office's Serious Collision Analysis Response Team responded to the scene.
The investigation is being led by the New Jersey State Police.
Two occupants in the MCSO special operations vehicle were not injured.
