DWI Checkpoint In Monmouth County Friday Night
The checkpoint is one in a series conducted throughout the summer.

ASBURY PARK, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a DWI checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs Friday night in Asbury Park.
The checkpoint will run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Route 71, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator.
Task force members and officers from the Asbury Park Police Department will pull vehicles from the southbound lanes into the municipal parking lot to determine drivers' sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator.
