Monmouth County Park System is offering Adult Ceramics Classes beginning Jan 10 at Thompson Park Creative Arts Center in Lincroft. Learn techniques and skills for decorating and glazing slip cast items. Beginners will gain knowledge about greenware, bisque, underglazes and glaze. Freehand and stencil decorating will be explored. Advanced students can work independently at their own pace. Pre-cast items and tools can be purchased at the Creative Arts Center. Fee includes firings, glazes, underglazes and instruction.
