Forecast Convinces Wall School Officials To Use Final Snow Day

If any more are needed, the Memorial Day weekend will be shortened.

The approaching storm and the declaration of a state of emergency declared by Gov. Chris Christie have prompted school officials in Wall Township to close schools for Thursday.

The district had three days built into the calendar for emergency closures. If any more days are needed, the Memorial Day weekend -- currently scheduled to run Thursday, May 21 through Monday, May 25 -- will be shortened, according to the district’s website.
