Gas Price Monday: Prices Climb 7 cents From Last Week

The average price for a gallon of gas in town reversed a weeks-long falling trend, averaging 7-cents more this week at $3.32 for regular grade at cash price.

The cheapest gas in town as of Sunday night is once again at the Route 35 Gulf at Allaire Road, where you can find a gallon for $3.24.

The Race Star on Belmar Boulevard has the second best prices in town, charging $3.26 for a gallon of regular at cash price.

The highest price for a gallon this week is the Gulf station at Route 35 and Sea Girt Avenue, which has jumped an astonishing 21 cents over last week’s price, coming in at $3.45 a gallon.
