Gas Price Tuesday: Cost Of A Gallon Rises Again
After a week of falling prices, cost continues to climb

After the first week since November that gas prices fell last week, the cost of a gallon has resumed it’s march upward. The average price in town for a gallon of regular grade gas, cash price, is $3.62, up 3-cents from $3.59 a week ago. The Lukoil station on Route 70 is selling the lowest price gallon of the 18 stations in town at $3.54 while the Getty on Route 34 North and Allenwood Road is selling the most expensive gallon at $3.75.
Here are this week's prices, collected Monday afternoon, beginning with the least expensive:
- Lukoil - 1007 Route 70 - $3.54
- Sunoco – 1852 Route 35 - $3.55
- Gulf - 1939 Route 35 (at Allaire Road) - $3.55
- Circle Service Station - Route 34 & Route 33 Circle - $3.57
- Race Star - 2402 Belmar Blvd - $3.57
- Wawa - 1310 Wyckoff Rd. (at Route 34) - $3.59
- Sunoco - 3240 Belmar Blvd. (Glendola Section) - $3.59
- B.P. - Route 35 & Warren Avenue - $3.59
- Hess - 2630 Route 70 - $3.59
- Exxon - 1734 18 Ave. (at Route 35) - $3.61
- Sunoco - Mile Post 100, Garden State Parkway - $3.64
