Gas Price Tuesday: Up Just Slightly Over Last Week
Continuing an upward trend, but no spike this week

The cost of a gallon of gas continues its upward trend, but only a slightly this week. The average price in town for a gallon of regular grade gas, cash price, is $3.77 up 1 cent from $3.76 a week ago. The Gulf gas station on Route 35 at Allaire Road is selling the lowest price gallon of the 18 stations in town at $3.65 while the Getty on Route 34 North and Allenwood Road is once again selling the most expensive gallon at $3.99.
Here are this week's prices, collected Monday afternoon, beginning with the least expensive:
- Gulf - 1939 Route 35 (at Allaire Road) - $3.65
- Sunoco – 1852 Route 35 - $3.66
- Circle Service Station - Route 34 & Route 33 Circle - $3.67
- Lukoil - 1007 Route 70 - $3.69
- Race Star - 2402 Belmar Blvd - $3.71
- Hess - 2630 Route 70 - $3.71
- Wawa - 1310 Wyckoff Rd. (at Route 34) - $3.71
- B.P. - Route 35 & Warren Avenue - $3.73
- Sunoco - 3240 Belmar Blvd. (Glendola Section) - $3.75
- Exxon - 1734 18 Ave. (at Route 35) - $3.77
- Shell - 1601 Route 35 (at Belmar Boulevard) - $3.79
