The dollar burritos event is a fundraiser for the Wall Township First Aid squad; the new Mexican-style restaurant opened last week.

WALL, NJ — If you like burritos and you like supporting a good cause, come out to Pancheros Mexican Grill to indulge in both.
The new Mexican-style restaurant that opened last week at 1919 Route 35 in Wall is hosting a $1 burrito giveback event in support of the Wall Township First Aid and Rescue Squad.
"The dollar burrito event is a great way to give back to the community and celebrate our opening," said Theresa Bruno, who owns the local Pancheros in Wall with her husband, Phil Bruno. “Phil and I are excited to be able to show our support for the Wall Township First Aid and Rescue Squad and celebrate the opening with members of the community.”

All proceeds from the sales of burritos on Tuesday, April 9, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be donated to the organization to celebrate Pancheros’ grand opening and demonstrate its commitment to the community, the company said in a news release.
Pancheros opened its doors on April 2. The "fast casual" restaurant touts fresh-pressed tortillas and "uses a unique spatula to tear down the walls that once stood between the meat, rice, beans and salsas, yielding burritos that are better built."

Pancheros also serves burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas and salads. It has also earned popularity for its chips and queso and unique limited-time offerings.
The Wall Township First Aid and Rescue Squad is composed of volunteers and community members who deliver free Emergency Medical Services and Rescue assistance to the residents of Wall Township, and provide EMS support to the Glendola and West Belmar Fire Companies. All volunteers are qualified to perform their duties and dedicate themselves to maintaining and enhancing their skills.
Pancheros originated in 1992 in Iowa City, Iowa, and was modeled after the Chicago taquerias that founder Rodney Anderson had visited often with his friends during his teenage years. The company now has nearly 70 franchise locations across 13 states.
