Light The Night In Wall Remembers Victims Of Substance Abuse

The event is tonight, from 5 to 8 p.m. and will take place at Allaire Community Farm, 1923 Bailey's Corner Road in Wall.

WALL, N.J.— Light the Night organizers are reminding the public that they can join the group tonight, May 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. for a "Light the Night for the Shore CommUnity" event at Allaire Community Farm, 1923 Bailey’s Corner Road.

An evening of remembrance and celebration of life for loved ones who may have passed before us, for local Shore families and surrounding Wall Township and Manasquan CommUnities will take place with luminaries lighting the walk, organizers said in a statement.

Addiction and mental health issues are widespread and affect many parts of the family and community life, according to Alysa Fornarotto-Regenye, Wall High School Student Assistance Counselor/Coordinator.

"It would mean a lot to those individuals seeing others coming together in support for Light the Night for the Shore CommUnity," she said in a statement on the Wall school district website.
