Monmouth County Vocational Schools Announce Snow Closure

Friday's wet snow and slippery conditions led to the closure.

Students who attend the Monmouth County Vocational School District’s various academies are getting a long weekend due to the snow that has created hazardous driving conditions.

The career academies -- Academy of Applied Health Sciences, Biotechnology High School, Communications High, High Technology High, Marine Academy of Science and Technology -- as well as the Academy of Law and Public Safety and the CLASS Academy all are closed Friday as a result of the snow.

All full-time, shared-time and adult evening programs are canceled for Friday as well, the district said.
